Wayne Bees is situated in Wayne, Illinois, on the edge of Pratt's Wayne Woods and the Illinois Prairie Path. It boasts of 3,433 acres of natural prairie and is the largest forest preserve in the county. It is home to over 1000 species of native plants, birds and animals. A true haven for bees especially in the heart of a big city life. Our beekeepers look after and maintain over 15 hives each year. The honey we sell, is harvested three times a year - Spring, Summer and Fall.
